Lord Jesus Christ, You are the light
that darkness cannot overcome.
Like Saint Lucy, who brought light and hope
to Christians in persecution, help us to be bearers
of Your light in our world's darkest places.
When we face trials and suffering,
give us her courage and unwavering faith.
Open our eyes to see Your light shining
even under challenging circumstances.
May we never lose hope, but always trust
that Your light will ultimately triumph
over every darkness.
