St. Agnes, you chose Christ as Your only Spouse
and remained faithful to Him in the face of fire and sword.
In an age that struggles to understand the value of purity,
intercede for us.
Help us to guard our hearts and minds,
keeping them focused on the beauty of the Lord.
May we, like you, recognize that our true dignity
is found in being beloved children of God.
