God of all joy, this Gaudete Sunday reminds us
that the Lord is near.
Fill our hearts with the joy that comes
from knowing You love us infinitely
and are coming to save us.
Even in our struggles and sorrows,
may we rejoice in Your faithful promises.
Help us to be people who spread joy to others
through kindness, encouragement, and hope.
As we light the rose candle of joy,
brighten our lives with the gladness
that can only come from You.
