Celebrating a Diamond Jubilee

A Diamond Jubilee marks sixty years of faithful priestly service—a remarkable witness to God's enduring grace and the steadfast response of a servant who has devoted his life to Christ and His Church. Today, we give thanks for six decades of ministry filled with prayer, compassion, sacrifice, and hope.

Fr. Tom Shaughnessy

For sixty years, Columban Fr. Thomas Shaughnessy has faithfully proclaimed the Gospel, celebrated the Holy Eucharist, administered the Sacraments, and walked alongside God's people through life's greatest joys and deepest sorrows. Countless lives have been touched through his ministry, from the waters of Baptism to the comfort of prayers offered at the end of life.

A Diamond Jubilee is also a celebration of God's faithfulness. His vocation reminds us that holiness is found in daily acts of service and in a lifelong commitment to God's call.

As we honor this extraordinary milestone, we thank God for the many blessings shared through sixty years of devoted ministry. With grateful hearts, we celebrate this Diamond Jubilee and rejoice in a lifetime dedicated to serving God and His people. May God richly bless him today and always.
