Called to Go Forth

As a new year begins, we are reminded of Christ’s Great Commission: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). The Christian mission begins with a call — not merely to travel far, but to live faithfully where we are planted. Each believer is invited to carry Christ’s light into daily life: our homes, workplaces, and communities. January is a time to renew our dedication to God’s purpose, seeking fresh ways to serve, to share, and to embody grace.

Mission is not only for the missionaries abroad; it is the heartbeat of every believer who says “yes” to God’s leading. As we pray and plan for the months ahead, let us ask: How can I serve others as Christ has served me? Who in my life needs encouragement, prayer, or compassion?

This month marks the start of a year filled with intentional acts of love, proclaiming the hope that never fades. Our mission is not about perfection, but about presence — to be the hands and feet of Christ wherever He sends us.
