As part of her role as Columban Faith in Action Volunteer, Abi Yendole recently travelled to the Calais border in France where she accompanied a group of Catholic young adults and educators learning about the situation at the border for those seeking sanctuary in Britain. She wrote this poem having taken time to reflect on the experience.
