The Winter 2022 issue of the Columban Social Justice newsletter 'Vocation for Justice' is now available. It takes the theme of ‘The Duty of Hope', picking up a term used by the peace activist Dorothy Day, a co-founder of the Catholic Worker Movement. For her, hope was different to optimism. It suggested action to give a glimpse of a different reality to violence and waste and was based on prayer, love and gratitude
